Originally from Saskatoon, Dr. Bantle is happy to now call Vancouver home after graduating from the University of Waterloo School of Optometry program in 2011. She graduated Dean’s Honours List and received the Alcon CPE Award for exceptional performance within the Contact Lens portion of the curriculum.
Dr. Bantle has gained clinical experience in various settings worldwide including an Ophthalmic Disease internship at the John Kenyon American Eye Institute in Louisville, KY, and a primary care internship in Brisbane, Australia.
Dr. Bantle’s passion for travel and Optometry has led her to volunteer on missions overseas both as a student, and as a supervising Doctor, where she provided eye care and eye wear in Romania and Peru. Outside of work Dr. Bantle keeps herself busy with skiing, yoga, cycling, and cooking. Dr. Bantle enjoys seeing patients of all ages and strives to provide the best quality of care to her patients, practicing with a strong emphasis in long-term eye health. Her favourite part of your eye exam includes reviewing your retinal photos, and informing you of what you can do to keep your eyes healthy for years to come.
